Frequently asked questions, Policies & Fees

What is your cancellation policy?

I understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes things prevent you from keeping your appointment. If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. You will be charged the full session fee if you cancel within 24 hours’ notice. - You will be charged the full session fee if you miss your appointment without canceling. - If you are late for your appointment, your session will still end at the time scheduled. If you are a repeat offender of this policy, I may need to reconsider our therapeutic relationship. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

What are some things I need to ask my insurance company?

  • Do I have mental health benefits?

  • Do I have an out-of-network deductible?

  • How much of my deductible has been met, or have I left?

  • How much of my visit will be covered?

  • How do I upload my paid Superbill from my therapist for reimbursement?

Do you accept insurance?

The Center for Life is currently out of network  with all insurance companies. If you would like to use your out-of-network benefits, you will pay in full at the time of your appointment, and we will provide you with a Superbill to submit to claims for insurance reimbursement upon your request. Please note that insurance companies reimburse at the rate allowed by your benefits. You may want to contact your insurance company to determine your out-of-network benefits before making an appointment.
