What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes things prevent you from keeping your appointment. If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at least 48 hours in advance. You will be charged the full session fee if you cancel within 48 hours’ notice. - You will be charged the full session fee if you miss your appointment without canceling. - If you are late for your appointment, your session will still end at the time scheduled. If you are a repeat offender of this policy, We may need to reconsider our therapeutic relationship. Thank you for your understanding and your cooperation.

What are some things I need to ask my insurance company?

• Do I have mental health benefits?

• Do I have an out-of-network deductible?

• How much of my deductible has been met, or have I left?

• How much of my visit will be covered?

Do you accept insurance?

The Center for Life is a proud provider for Cardinal Care Medicaid of Virginia, Anthem Healthkeepers, Aetna, Carelon Behavioral Health, Anthem Blue Cross and we are  out of network providers for all  other insurance companies. If you would like to use your out-of-network benefits, you will pay in full at the time of your appointment, and we will process the claim to your insurance provider for reimbursement the day of service. Please note that insurance companies reimburse at the rate allowed by your benefits. You may want to contact your insurance company to determine your out-of-network benefits before making an appointment. We will also gladly call them for you.

Contacting your insurance company before beginning sessions is vital. This allows many of our clients to receive significant “out-of-network” reimbursements from their private health insurance providers; often somewhere between 50% - 90% of what you pay upfront.

How long will I be in therapy?

Together, we will continually assess the appropriate frequency of services based off progress. We will also work to determine when you have met your goals and are ready for termination of services. Know that even after we have completed our therapy together that we will always be a phone call away if you should ever need us.
